ButterFLi

July 30, 2019 Darryl Sanford

ButterFLi is an on-demand service offering improved, scheduled-assisted transportation for anyone with a barrier to mobility through the use of its technology platform.

Overview

ButterFLi creates a positive customer service environment for both consumers and enterprise clients through a network of transportation companies whose drivers are certified and specially trained to provide the right type of service to passengers. The firm’s technology platform is designed to bring on-demand and scheduled mobility options to individuals requiring assisted transportation. ButterFLi is changing the way existing transportation services are delivered to persons with disabilities, seniors, anyone with a barrier to mobility, and those entities that serve them.

ButterFLi is distinguished from competitors by its unique focus and aggregation of existing transportation companies as transportation partners (TPs) in the NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation)  limousine and taxi industries. It bridges the gap in terms of stabilizing pricing and bringing uniformity and dependability to the fragmented NEMT industry. All drivers are employed by its TPs and certified with their respective regulatory agencies, and local municipalities. TPs are also required to provide driver background information and certification that conform with local and federal law. This ensures the safety and security of customers.

Assisted and specialized transportation are the company’s focus, from curb-to-curb, door-to-door, and uniquely, door-through-door. Importantly, ButterFLi is ADA compliant.

Currently, the firm operates throughout California and can quickly scale into other markets through its technology platform and also because of its partnerships with local transportation providers serving specific geographic regions.

Benefits

A Proprietary Technology Suite:

Is designed to address the needs of the disabled and senior communities, and the health care facilities that serve them. The features and options available to companies include a 24-7 call center, web portals and ride tracking.

Customer Service:

ButterFLi offers door-to-door and door-through-door service, which are unique and unmatched by rideshare companies. The firm also provides a “warm hand-off” on behalf of clients.

Transportation Provider Network:

ButterFLi requires licensed and insured companies whose drivers must possess certifications and trainings regulated by local and state agencies. ButterFLi’s drivers can pick up patients when outpatient surgery procedures are complete.

Experience in Transportation:

The firm has over 20 years of specialized transportation experience. Its co-founders took a company with three vehicles and scaled it to over 200 service vehicles throughout Southern California. It is one of the largest specialized transportation companies in this region.

ButterFLi is ADA Compliant:

ButterFLi entered the market wholly-focused on persons with mobility issues.

Legacy companies such as Lyft and Uber cannot aid, while ButterFLi was established solely to provide assisted rides.
