LLUMC Announces Plans to Purchase New Medical Facility (May 8, 2008)

Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) recently announced plans to purchase a new medical facility located in close proximity to its main campus. Final terms of the sale are expected to be completed within the next few weeks.

Grant Funding Now Available for Hospitals Using CCPS (May 8, 2008)

The UniHealth Foundation is now providing grant funding for hospitals utilizing the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) during 2008. This grant will cover the $975 annual licensing fee for each site, resulting in zero cost for the year to hospitals currently participating, and for hospitals that start using CCPS in the upcoming placement cycle in August of 2008.

HASC Seminar on May 22 to Address Expected Survey Challenges in 2009 (May 8, 2008)

On Thursday, May 22, HASC will present the seminar "Preparing for Survey Challenges in 2009," which will offer an overview of what hospitals and hospital systems are doing to prepare for the unannounced CDPH surveys beginning in 2009.

Orange and Los Angeles Counties to Host Health Care Summits in May & June (May 8, 2008)

HASC will present Annual Health Care Summits for Orange and Los Angeles counties in May and June, with the goal of addressing issues concerning legislation, regulation, economics, demographics and public policy affecting hospitals, and their impact on the health care delivery system.
