Join us for an in-depth two-day training on hospital surge capacity management for natural disasters and CBRNE incidents.

As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to:

• Describe LA County’s disaster capabilities
• Identify triage priorities in disaster patients
• Perform a role in the hospital command center &  emergency department during disaster drill
• Describe the health care facilities role in a disaster

This two-day course features:

• Lectures
• Skill sessions
• Tabletop and functional exercises
• Immediate exercise evaluation and feedback
• Continuing education credits

Target Audience: This course has a broad approach with both a clinical and non-clinical target audience that includes but is not limited to hospital administration, physicians, nurses, emergency care technicians, safety, security, facilities, mental health, ancillary, legal/risk management, human resources, educators, clinic and first receiver staff.
Basic awareness of hospital operations, hospital emergency management, and CBRNE is required.
